傳陳香梅華盛頓特區水門公寓寓所舊藏。
陳納德舊藏。
典型近代廣作，通體紫檀，床面巨幅獨板，用料靡奢。三面圍屏雕四時花卉，牙板靈芝葡萄博古圖，玲瓏浮凸。兩側與底足刻回紋。包漿濃郁，沉穩大器。
現藏家陳氏伉儷醉心於蒐集中國古典家具。十二年前購得此床，源自華府水門公寓飛虎隊將軍陳納德與陳香梅夫婦故居。此床應是使用家具之一。藏家致信陳家次女陳美麗，知悉台北陳宅客廳確有此床，原擬贈予路易斯安那州陳納德博物館，未能成行。故為此床再觅有缘人。
陳納德二戰功績，世人耳熟能詳。陳香梅宦海巾幗，輔佐八任總統，中美台穿梭，是近世爲數不多能在三方都説得上話的人物。想當年陳宅往來的政商豪客，想這張床上坐過的梟雄嬌娥，還不值得出手競標麽？
Overall good, stable and complete condition, the wood well polished, some old scuffs, scratches and mark to the wood consistent with age and use.
