The canvas is lined. There is prominent craquelure throughout the canvas. The paint surface is slightly flattened on the face and hands. Soiled varnish. Under UV light: an area of paint lifting under the signature with a small spot of paint loss that has been inpainted. Another spot of inpainting circa 6 inches below that.
