A Group of George Halas Documents With Fascinating Content
comprising four letters, all pertaining to the "beating of an individual" at Soldier Field during a Bears game in 1981:
One: A claimants copy of the Chicago Police report.
Two: A reply letter from the Police to the claimant.
Three: A letter sent to George Halas from the same, recounting the act of violence.
Four: Reply letter signed by George Halas stating that the Bears merely rent Soldier Field, and Papa Bear deflected any blame on the Chicago Park District.
NOTE: If a bid is placed within one minute of the closing time of a lot, five additional minutes will be added to the designated closing time for that lot. This process will repeat until no new bids are placed in the final minute of a lot. Please note that the extension of one lot’s closing time does not affect other lots’ closing times.
