A 1996-97 Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls Game Issued Home Jersey

Straight from the Bulls locker room at the conclusion of the NBA's 50th anniversary season, this white home jersey is size 46 with the Champion tag sewn on the bottom front left tail. Also featured is a “DESIGNED & TAILORED 96/97 EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHICAGO BULLS BODY LENGTH +3” tag, indicating that it was tailored for Jordan’s specifications, notably his preference for lengthened jerseys.

With letter of provenance from original owner and consignor stating:

At the close of the 1996-1997 NBA season, a close friend who did quite a bit of television camera work for the Chicago Bulls contacted me. Knowing I was a collector of sports memorabilia, he informed me that a surplus of unused Michael Jordan game issued jerseys were available directly from the Bulls' Equipment Manager. Through this connection, I was able to secure one home jersey, as well as one road jersey. They have been my possession since.
