I am going down to Mexico, and suddenly thought I might get a chance to use it, for I start on the seventh of September; but don't tell him I need the camera until he gets home, for it's of no Earthly consequence, and I wouldn't want him bothered about it. Give him my very best when you next see him." -- One page TLS ("Kermit Roosevelt"). New York, 25 October 1929. 7 1/4 x 10 1/2 in., on "Eleven Broadway, New York" letterhead. Addressed to Mr. Stanley H. Howe, International Exposition of American Import Trade. Roosevelt writes, thanking Mr. Howe for his letter and accepting his invitation/request to serve on the Citizens Advisory Committee for the International Exposition of American Import Trade, with one caveat: "provided it is understood that I am so much tied down in my own business that it is impossible for me to take an active part." -- Together, 2 letters signed by Kermit Roosevelt.
