Accompanied by a photocopy of what is believed to be the original Christie's sales description for the lot from which the strands of the Lincoln hair offered here derived.

[With:] Multiple fragments of wood housed in plastic bags with modern notations, presumably in the hand of Carroll J. Delery III, attributing the wood as relic wood taken from the scaffold used to execute the Lincoln conspirators, secured as a souvenir by a soldier acting as a guard serving in the 1st US Veteran Volunteers.
