Inspected under UV light and 10x loupe. Overall weathered surface. Instances of chipping, abrasions, and discoloration present. Edges are uneven and jagged. One half of one edge flatter with striations indicating toolmarks. Notable loss below figure's head. Orange-brown mineral deposits well preserved in sections of face. "31" painted in small white characters, and larger number in black (perhaps "282") also directly painted to back side. Fragment is not affixed to accompanying black-painted wood stand the underside of which contains a red sticker with "96". Overall in fine and attractive condition. See additional images.
