Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; varnish is significantly discolored; there is a horizontal panel crack extending from the center edge to the white horse, approximately 4 3/4 inches in length; an additional small panel crack in the upper left corner edge, approximately 1 inch in length, accompanied by small paint losses; areas of localized craquelures in center left, lower center, and in the hindquarters of the white horse; drying craquelures in the lower right corner and in the red robes of the right-most figure; small paint losses located in the upper left corner, center left, lower center, and upper center; white paint droplet in center right, above the red-robed figure. Under UV light, the thick varnish layer fluoresces green and obscures most viewing of inpainting, however, inpainting does seem to be visible in the upper center, upper left corner, and one small area in lower left corner.
