Overall fine condition. There are holes where screws should secure the superstructure to the desk, but the screws are not present. The structure is stable when the doors to the upper case are closed, but when they are opened, the weight of the doors pulls the case forward, so replacement screws will be needed to make the bookcase fully stable. Otherwise attractive and usable. There are two internal shelves in the upper case. The fall-front desk operates smoothly and rests on lopers. The interior drawers and lower drawers open and close with ease. There is an area where a writing surface, likely either leather or velvet, once was present, but that material has been removed and the underlying wood is visible. The exterior wood has a rich, warm finish. There are areas of lifting, age splits, and minor losses to the veneer, but the presentation is quite attractive overall. The mirrored doors have a hazy/uneven finish. No keys are present.
