The underside of one example with paper label reading " The Collectors Room / Antique China and Accessories / Second Floor; South Wabash. / From an exceptionally fine service made to order in China about 1770 for the Counts of Azurara of Lisbon, Portugal. It was used in their palace on the Alfama Square which has just been presented to the City of Lisbon as the Museum Ricardo Espirito Santo da Silva."
Both in overall good and stable condition. Both examples with some loss to paint decoration in the central image and smaller instances of minimal paint loss to the borders. Some visible firing pits. One example with a couple minute fleabites along rim, not immediately apparent. Some discoloration along the border to the other example. No other significant damage or repairs visible under natural light.
Condition reports are available upon request. All lots are sold “as is,” in the condition they are in at the time of the auction.
