The provided length of 1 5/8 inches is measured from the top of the gilt metal pendant to the bottom of the stone and the width is from the outer edges of the pendant (widest point of the overall piece. The stone itself measures as follows: 1 1/6 x 3/4 inches. The metal retains very trace remnants of gilt to its surface. The musuem from which the consignment derived informed our identifcation of the material as 'gilt metal'.

Condition reports are available upon request. All lots are sold “as is,” in the condition they are in at the time of the auction. The physical condition of lots can vary due to age, normal wear and tear, previous damage, and restoration.
