Frame: 25 x 35 1/3 inches. Canvas is lined. In overall fairly good and stable condtion. Exhibiting patterns of craquelure throughout with stretcher marks visible along the borders of the image. Some marks from surface deposit visible including few transparent white splotches in the sky and an area in the upper left (proper-right) corner where brown spots and marks are visible, suggesting some surface abrasian. Some small flaking loss to in the sky along the border which is visibly in-painted under natural light. Examination under UV light shows additional small scattered spots of reotuch and inpaint in the upper half of the image as well as a long, asymetrical U-shaped repair located in the center of the left (proper-right) side of image (it extends vertically from the sky just above the mountain peak to the road, then horizontally toward the bridge in the foreground and vertically to the bridge in the background. This repair also fainty visible in natural and raking light. Additional images available upon request.
