The image features a daguerreian circular border around the subjects, who both wear somewhat sullen or concerned expressions. -- Ninth plate seated portrait of a girl wearing a patterned dress and holding what appears to be a daguerreian locket up to her chest, the image visible to the camera. (Tarnishing to edges; original seals.)
