A Painted Enamel on Bronze Covered Jar
畫琺琅纏枝蓮紋蓋壺
the jar having broad shoulders tapering to a spreading foot, the waisted neck surmounted by a galleried mouth, painted overall with lotus scrolls, floral sprigs and butterflies, the domed cover with similar floral motif and winged bats circling the gilt knob-form finial, the underside bearing a red enameled Qianlong four-character mark within a square panel.
