15/16 in. diam. gilt brass frame featuring 9/16 in. diam. ferrotypes of Stephen Douglas and Herschel Johnson on obverse and reverse, respectively (scratching to Johnson side, darkening to Douglas side, tarnish to frame). Obverse with legend "Stephen A. Douglas / 1860," reverse with legend, "Herschel V. Johnson / 1860." Frame with hole at top for suspension.
