Housed in a Union case with geometric design (chipping to edges, non-functioning closure clasp). -- Ninth plate tintype portrait of an African American baby seated in a large chair. (Some surface blemishes, creasing, and residue to plate; unsealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case (significant wear). -- And 15 others, including 7 sixth plate ambrotypes, 2 ninth plate ambrotypes, one full plate loose tintype, 3 sixth plate tintypes, and 2 ninth plate tintypes, some without cases. -- Together, 19 assorted portaits featuring children.
