(Tarnishing around subjects, light spotting, heavy spotting to mats, no preservers present; image of boy with original seals, image of girl unsealed.) Housed in similar plain leatherette cases with deep blue velvet pads. -- Sixth plate standing portrait of a young boy wearing European-style clothing and holding something, perhaps a toy of some sort, in one hand. (Some tarnishing to edges, clouding and light spotting throughout image, oxidation to mat and preserver; unsealed.) Housed in a fully separated case. -- And 13 others, all sixth plate daguerreotypes, many without full cases. -- Together, 16 daguerreotype portraits of children.
