Diameter 3 3/4 in. engraved silver badge with gilt and glass center (minor bends at star points, surface scratches to reverse). Obverse legend reads: "Ancient Order of Foresters / Instituted from Time Immemorial." Silver marks to reverse.

An 8-pointed silver badge representing the Ancient Order of Foresters, a friendly society or fraternal organization founded in 1834. Today, the society is known as the Foresters Friendly Society.
