Note:

The original work on which the present lot is based was on display in the Galleria Palatina in the Palazzo Pitti, Florence, but now resides in the collection of The Fitzwilliam Museum of the University of Cambridge.

Frame: 39 3/8 x 34 1/8 inches. With two minuscule protruding surface abrasions to the subject's hair where there is no paint. The paint layer is fairly dark and dirty commensurate with age. Examination under UV light reveals areas of overpainting to the frame and canvas throughout (please request additional images for reference).
