the round face carved with downcast eyes sensitively rendered, modeled beneath curved brows sloping into a narrow nose bridge, the lips slightly pursed; stylized carvings on the scalp of floral roundels meet large, heavily lobed ears, with encrustation throughout the deep gray surface.
Height of head 5 1/4 in., 13.3 cm.
