Housed together in a full pressed paper case (significant surface wear and beginnings of separation to spine). -- A quarter plate portrait of a mother posed affectionately with two children, one of whom stands behind the mother with his head resting on her shoulder. Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (fully separated at spine, some edges missing, wear throughout). Case marked for W. (Tarnishing to edges, with some spotting and light softening to focus; resealed.) Housed in a full leatherette case (general wear throughout). -- A quarter plate family portrait featuring a mother, father, and their two young boys. (Spotting and some tarnishing to edges, heavy oxidation to mat and preserver; resealed.) Housed in a half pressed paper case (general wear and loss). -- And 8 others, including one half plate example and 7 sixth plate examples, many without full cases. -- Together, 13 daguerreotype portraits of parents with children.
