Subject identified in ink on mat, "John Burroughs." -- A group of 18 mounted albumen photographs featuring architectural landmarks in Russia, each 10 1/2 x 8 1/4 in. with "Warren & Wetmore" ink stamp on verso. Condition generally fair, with toning to images and chipping/loss to mount edges and corners. -- 6 1/4 x 4 3/4 in. albumen photograph on cardstock mount featuring a group of Japanese children posed with two adults (light toning throughout). Caption printed on mount recto in Japanese, translates to "*******." Ink caption at bottom reads, "St Johns Orphanage, Osaka." -- 9 1/4 x 7 1/2 in. albumen photograph on cardstock mount featuring a US Army  riverboat navigating the Missouri River (heavy toning, soiling, spotting throughout, with punctures to image and heavy wear to mount edges and corners). Seven men can be seen sitting and standing in various places on the flat bottom vessel with a large "U.S." painted on the side. -- And 18 other photographs of various subjects including trains, an airship, portraiture, and more. -- Together, 23 photographs.
