Visor to crown 7 1/4 in. Model 1832 brown beaver felt shako with patent leather visor, lower band, and chinstrap (very minor scuffs, light mothing, small puncture to left of insignia); visible height 8 13/16 in. brass "bomb tulip" holder and white worsted wool plume (soiling, not removed from shako, tightly fitted in plume hole); wingspan width 3 in. variant Model 1821 die-struck eagle brass cap insignia; width 3 in. Model 1834 silvered die-struck brass infantry horn, ca. 1834-1850. Remnant of a paper label to interior, maker not legible.
