Handel shade: tight hairline crack to one of the upper, lighter glass panels approximately 2 to 2 1/2 inches long; light surface dirt and dust; marked 'Handel' to inside of top rim, the word Handel flanked by five-point stars. Painted glass shade: having chips along rim, the largest of which is approximately 1 centimeter long; moderate scratching along top rim; dirt, dust, and residue throughout; light wear to painted decoration; chips along bottom rim; chip to inside of bottom rim approximately 1/4 inch long.
