the first a square tsuikoku (carved black lacquer) kogo (incense box), the cover carved to show a flowering branches issuing from rockworks, the interior decorated in gold showing chrysanthemums, plants and dragonflies; the second a large black lacquer netsuke in the form of scrolling lotus leaves, unsigned.
