Condition:
THE FIRST
The overall condition is very good with no visible issues.
THE SECOND
The overall condition is good though there is minimal soiling along the neckline and removeable collar of the jacket, and moderate soiling under the arms in the lining. The white satin covered buttons all have varying levels of soiling with the front opening and left hip pocket buttons more noticeable. The skirt has some white pinhead sized spots on the left side seam and both jacket and skirt appear to have been previously pressed.
THE THIRD
The overall condition is very good structurally though the jacket has noticeable soiling along the neckline and front hem on each side of the opening. The interior lining has yellowed from wear and the shoulders, front neckline, and under arms are heavily soiled. The back sleeves have lightly yellowed as well. the skirt appears to have had the waist band buttons altered and the front panel is missing stitching along the diagonal edge. The hem of the skirt appears to have been let out at least twice.
Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging. All other condition issues are stated above. To request additional working condition photos, please email us with the lot number. Condition is a matter of opinion of the evaluator and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Clients must review and agree to the Conditions of Sale before participating in an auction.
The physical condition of lots in our auctions can vary due to age, normal wear and tear, previous damage, and restoration/repair.
