Michelangelo Felix (Felice) Emmanuelli Tristani (1883-1943) was born in Puerto Rico who became a naturalized United States citizen in New York in 1904. Both documents here signed by President Roosevelt are for Emmanuelli's commission as a first lieutenant in the Porto Rico Regiment of Infantry, effective from 25 August 1907.
