
With over 15 years of professional experience in the art industry, Thomas B. McCabe IV is a Senior Vice President at Freeman’s, serves as the head of Business Development and directly oversees the firms Trusts & Estates, Private Sales and Museum Services. In addition, Mr. McCabe helps manage our Private and Corporate Collections departments, sponsorships, events, website and online bidding functions and is a member of the Freeman’s management team.
Private Sales are a service Freeman’s provides to select clients who wish to sell items via a private treaty rather than using our standard auction services. Mr. McCabe helps clients navigate the process and achieve a timely and agreeable sale.
Following his graduation from Trinity College, Hartford, where he majored in Art History, Mr. McCabe earned a Masters in Art Business from the Sotheby’s Institute. Tom is a board member of The Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks and is an active member of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Barnes Foundation and The Franklin Institute.
