Kim joined Freeman’s in the summer of 2020 and serve as a central contact for fiduciaries, law firms, family offices, beneficiaries and private clients seeking assistance with the valuation and disposition of single and multi-category collections.
With fifteen years of museum, appraisal and auction industry experience, Kim develops bespoke sale and marketing strategies for diverse single-owner collections at Freeman’s. She is a certified appraiser of 20th Century Design (AAA) and is well versed in working with (ultra) high-net-worth individuals for the buying and selling of high value works. Prior to joining Freemans’, Kim was head of 20th Century Design at Sotheby’s New York and played an instrumental role in setting market records for works by Harry Bertoia, Jean Royère, Tiffany Studios, Les Lalannes, and Wendell Castle.
Kim is on the Advisory Council for Mural Arts Philadelphia (Fundraising Committee), on the Junior Board for the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), and an active member of the Forum of Executive Women (Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Committee), the Decorative Arts Trust and Art Glass Forum NY. She graduated from Temple University with a BA in Art History (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and Sotheby’s Institute London with an MA in Fine and Decorative Art History (Honors).
