Established by Henry A. Spaulding in 1888, Spaulding & Co. was an acclaimed jewelry and silver firm located in Chicago. Spaulding, an American jeweler, made a name for himself after developing his skills in New York City and, later, playing a prominent role at Tiffany & Co. in Paris. The company gained success in the Midwest for its French-influenced designs and exquisite gemstones, and eventually merged with Gorham Inc. and Black, Starr, & Frost in 1929. The firm operated under the name Spaulding-Gorham, Inc. for several years before returning to its original name. After operating for 101 years, Spaulding & Co. closed its doors in 1989, its pieces remaining highly collectible to this day.

Overall Condition: Light scratching throughout consistent with age and use. The sapphires measure approximately 10.30 x 10.20 x 7.40 and 9.10 x 8.10 x 4.30 mm respectively.
