Objects from the 9th to the 19th-century are offered during these sales and can often include Iznik and Kashan pottery, gold and silver inlaid metalwork, arms and armor, miniature paintings, and glassware from Iran, Turkey, India, and beyond. Freeman’s recently found successes with a small collection of Iznik pottery that had originally been displayed at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, realizing over $70,000, and is consistently achieving high prices for fine, rare, and early pieces.
